The contrast

Peel-Away is a unique package of specially developed chemicals (paste) and a fibrous laminated cloth which is capable of removing multiple layers of paint efficiently and safely. After the paste is sprayed onto the surface, it is then covered by the fibrous laminate which allows the paste to work in a sealed environment without evaporating. The cloth is then removed along with the the paint and paste in one clean sweep. The surface is then washed, cleaned and neutralized. Peel-Away is very effective in removing paint from contoured surfaces and intricate grooved and carved areas. Up to thirty coats of paint can be removed in a singe application and there are no fumes and no flammable solvents used in the process. Average stripping time of peel-away for removing 5-15 coats of paint is 24 hours.

Jeff Balch, Inc. demonstrated the effectiveness of Peel-Away on a recent project at Linden Place, a late eighteen century building in Bristol, Rhode Island.. The process is clean and easy and doesn't require any  harmful chemicals or toxins. Peel-Away is particularly useful on older buildings like this whose wood is fragile and more susceptible to the harmful tear of conventional methods like sanding. These pictures speak for themselves!!
