During a recent project on a century-old mansion Newport, Jeff Balch, Inc. was hired to completely strip and repaint the exterior of the building. Working in conjunction with the Rhode Island Preservation Cooperative, we came to an agreement on a color scheme and were able to completely restore the exterior of the building without the use of harmful or intrusive methods that might harm the integrity of this beautiful property. Houses like these are particularly difficult to maintain due to the battery of natural forces that consistently test the integrity of the structure. It's important that the exterior finish is capable to weather the storms and withstand the long, harsh New England winters.
